Well since they used midnight Uk time on the 23rd Dec as closing date it would be logical that it ended at midnight UK time on 31st Dec....

Or they could be using midnight Jan 1.

It certainly could be interesting. Since we have been averaging 13 new users a day over the last few days and 14 already today - I wonder how many of them will vote?

Forget voting. I wonder how many will stick around and watch our videos.

Well, my plan was to use "when I woke up on New Year's Day" as the closing time, and expected there'd be a clear winner. But right now, it's a tie. So I'll call it at 11.59pm UK time on January 1, 2010, and we'll see who has the most votes at the end of the day.

And the final scores, after a very close race and a tie-break in the last few hours are...

So the winner is mcornetto from Australia - many congratulations! You'll get your 10,000 Moviestorm Points in the next few days.

Really expected this was going to be the other way around. To be perfectly honest I thought J-Hard was going take the comp by storm and I was sorry to see it didn't get more votes than it did. But everyone did a fantastic job with their videos. I enjoyed them all. Cheers and Happy New Year.

In a wonderful gesture of seasonal generosity, competition winner mcornetto has asked that we divide his 10,000 point prize equally among all the 10 finalists.

We're only too happy to comply - thank you so much for showing such incredible community spirit!

What a great gesture of generosity and community spirit! Thank you mcornetto! Those points will be handy in finishing my current project, and I will definitely be giving you a special thanks smile.gif

Now I agree with Jorge...let's make some movies!

In fact, in 2009 we heard a lot of discussion about what can't be done with moviestorm, and I think all the entries showed what can be done...so let's make 2010 the year where everyone goes "Wow! I want Moviestorm!" smile.gif

Cheers!
